Sono Mattia Liberati, nato nel 1989 in un piccolo paese delle Marche: uno di quei paesi in cui è obbligatorio seguire il catechismo, fare la comunione e la cresima per avvicinarsi a Dio.La strada con Dio è ancora lunga, ma il vantaggio di questi due riti religiosi sono stati i regali ricevuti, e in particolare due tipi di lenti: una è stata una videocamera, l'altra un telescopio.Ho iniziato ad usarle entrambe, e una di esse mi ha portato ad approfondire gli studi all'Accademia di Belle Arti nel corso di nuove tecnologie multimediali: d'inverno a studiare, d'estate a vedere le stelle.
Ho fatto video e lavorato per piccole produzioni di cinema e tv, video musicali e pubblicità, ho partecipato a concorsi e presentato in pubblico qualche opera autoprodotta.Iscrivendomi alla scuola Civica di Cinema a Milano ho potuto mettere da parte il lato tecnico per approfondire l'aspetto della scrittura e dell'autorialità, affinando quell'istinto che può trasformare un'idea in un'immagine in movimento, al fine di entrare nello "spazio profondo" dell'essere ed esplorarne impressioni e sensazioni.

who am I ?

I am Mattia Liberati, born in 1989 in a small town in the Marche region of Italy: one of those places where it is mandatory to follow catechism, receive First Communion, and Confirmation to get closer to God.The path to God is still long, but the advantage of these two religious rituals were the gifts I received, particularly two types of lenses: one was a video camera, the other a telescope.I started using both of them, and one of them led me to further my studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in the field of new multimedia technologies: studying during winter and stargazing during summer. I created videos and worked for small film and TV productions, music videos, and advertisements. I participated in competitions and presented some self-produced works in public.By enrolling in the Civic Film School in Milan, I was able to set aside the technical aspect and delve into the realm of writing and authorship, refining that instinct that can transform an idea into a moving image, in order to enter the "deep space" of being and explore its impressions and sensations.
